Job Description:

The Department of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a lecturer or associate lecturer position. The position carries a teaching load of three, 3-credit hour courses per semester, and a level of research and publication activity sufficient to maintain AACSB qualifications for teaching at the master’s level. The start date is fall 2020. UCF’s College of Business is accredited by the AACSB. Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must hold a doctorate from an accredited institution in management or a related field and have expertise and experience teaching business strategy, organizational behavior, and human resources. Candidates must also have teaching experience in a four-year, AACSB-accredited institution, and in a variety of formats such as large lecture, hybrid, and case-based approaches to learning.

 

To be eligible for an associate lecturer position, candidates must also meet department, college and university lecturer promotion guidelines. At a minimum, this includes five years of teaching experience in a management or management related field, of which three years is required to be full-time service as a UCF lecturer.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates who have broad knowledge and teaching experience in the Management discipline, a terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., D.B.A.) from an AACSB-accredited institution, and demonstrated excellence in instructional design.
