Job Description:

The Department of Computer Science (CS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking outstanding candidates for two 9-month, non-tenure earning instructor or lecturer positions to teach Computer Science and Information Technology courses. The job rank (instructor or lecturer) will be dependent upon the selected candidate's qualifications. The anticipated starting date is August 8, 2021.

 

The selected candidates will teach a full time academic load which consists of up to four courses per semester. The courses may include a variety of topics in our undergraduate Computer Science and Information Technology programs. Other responsibilities include holding office hours, conducting required academic performance assessments, and development of instructional content for course enhancement.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Ph.D., terminal degree, or foreign degree equivalent (for lecturer), or M.S. (for instructor) from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline by the start of the appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with a strong record of teaching.
