Job Description:

The University of Central Florida community is embarking on a transformational Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project, Knight Vision. Knight Vision will replace PeopleSoft and many other duplicate applications with, Workday, a modern platform to support our administrative activities. But this is much more than a software project. Knight Vision will modernize our business processes – beginning with financial and HR activities – bringing them up to industry standards. As the name suggests, Knight Vision will illuminate a path to greater operational efficiency and effectiveness and will improve transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.

Knight Vision Technical Workday Systems Analyst will coordinate with UCF leadership, vendors, and partners to ensure the success of the Knight Vision program including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementation, extensive business process transformation, and implementation of an enterprise analytics strategy. This position is also responsible for supporting work streams and work products for a particular functional business area.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exemplary project management skills 
  • In-depth understanding of UCF PeopleSoft system and associated business processes 
  • Experience building and configuring workflows in the current UCF PeopleSoft HCM, Grants or Financials system  
  • Extensive experience translating requirements between technical and functional teams 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience supporting ERP systems, creating and tracking vendor resolutions, and collaborating with teams to resolve
  • Experience building, enhancing, and troubleshooting ERP workflow solutions in a complex environment 
  • Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive system process flows for an ERP system 
  • Experience testing complex scenarios and coordinating with UCF departments and vendors 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience 
  • Experience with system implementation deliverables including fit-gap analysis, total cost of ownership, benefits analysis, and business process improvement
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Experience partnering with UCF business offices to Investigate and analyze current state business processes and system landscapes and architecture 
  • Experience analyzing current state ERP configuration and work with team to determine strategy and approach to reconfiguration of identified modules 
  • Experience creating one or more of the following: workflows, advanced route mapping, logic statements, condition rules, or eligibility rules
  • Exemplary project management skills 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Highly organized

* Estimated time frame for completion of the project is two- three years. If the incumbent is a current UCF employee, the employee will be granted an interim appointment. The individual will retain the right to return to their current role at their current compensation (adjusted for increases) upon the conclusion of this ERP assignment.
