Job Description:

This visiting Program Manager I position oversees Parramore Education and Innovation District (PEID) research, evaluation, and data program activities for grants in excess of $2 million. Works in partnership with PEID team, including PEID Education Programs Manager and Community Programs Manager to ensure effective implementation of PEID strategic plan and robust evaluation of interventions; ensure ongoing attention to and evaluation of key metrics of the PEID strategic plan.

Primary duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Provide vision and leadership to the Parramore Education and Innovation District (PEID) research program to promote a strengthened and seamless educational ecosystem from P-20 in Orlando's Parramore community.

  • Oversee PEID research, evaluation, and data program activities for grants in excess of $2 million.

  • Work in partnership with PEID team, including PEID Education Programs Manager and Community Programs Manager to ensure effective implementation of PEID strategic plan and robust evaluation of interventions; ensure ongoing attention to and evaluation of key metrics agreed to in the PEID strategic plan.

  • Oversee development and management of strategic research relationships with leaders from the Central Florida Education Ecosystem Database, UCF Institutional Knowledge Management, Orange County Public Schools, Valencia College, and independent evaluators.

  • Oversee development and implementation of research and evaluation efforts for targeted interventions.

  • Ensure integration of community-level outcomes into the research and evaluation plan.

  • Oversee ethical, transparent, and comprehensive data collection efforts.

  • Drive attention to qualitative and quantitative evaluation outcomes.

  • Identify and explore continued funding opportunities; lead grant writing processes when appropriate.

  • Identify and address research and evaluation efforts to include areas of intersection across schools (student behavior, parent education, health and nutrition to supplement educational needs, etc.).

  • Communicate program outcomes at internal and local meetings; Publish and present in nationally prominent, peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

  • Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and university policies and funder expectations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Holds doctorate in education or related field.
  • Experience with community work.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Experience leading developmental evaluation.
