Job Description:

UCF IT is seeking an Applications Programmer to support the ServiceNow team. Specific job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for guiding customers through meetings to elicit and document all expected requirements. Provide a detailed analysis and interpretation of application support processes. Provide consultation to customers in order to design forms and application configuration.

  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of ServiceNow and Pinnacle applications. Help develop implementation strategies for ServiceNow and Pinnacle products.

  • Assist with developing estimates and project plans for ServiceNow and Pinnacle products. Assist with ensuring any estimate delivered to a customer is full and complete and includes resource components from other UCF IT units. Works closely with the application owner, project management office and applicable stakeholders on design, development, and changes related to application functionality.

  • Develop, configure and support ITIL (i.e. request fulfillment, incident, problem and change management) process functionality per UCF IT policies and standards.

  • Collaborate with service owners and corresponding academic units for requirements gathering, outlining scope, planning communications, testing, documenting, and suggesting metric and review to ensure a successful implementation of service management solutions products and/or services.

  • Responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting ServiceNow and Pinnacle production and sub-production environments.

  • Develop, coordinate and communicate Pinnacle changes and upgrades with vendors, customers and management. Experience in using PL/SQL developer for maintaining Pinnacle and resolving system and user errors. Develop Crystal reports for activity and progress reports for management, customers and internal users. Responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, maintaining and supporting Pinnacle, Telecommunication management suite.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using SQL, Javascript, HTML & CSS.
  • ITIL v3 or 4 Foundation certification (preferred).
  • Understanding of ServiceNow application/platform.
