Job Description:

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems (IEMS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites highly skilled candidates to apply for the position of Business Manager I.

  • Responsible for the development, recommendation, and direction of policies and procedures for all aspects of the administrative and fiscal operations of the department.

  • Oversees all fiscal functions for all departmental, grants, equipment fees, and auxiliary accounts for the department.

  • Responsible for the management of budgeting, purchasing, travel, academic, human resources, and supervision of the office staff.

  • The Business Manager I is the administrative liaison between the IEMS department and other entities.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM

Type of Appointment:

Regular

Expected Salary:

$56,030 to Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, business management, or related field. Experience in personnel management and budgeting is also preferred.
