Job Description:

  • Evaluates, designs, builds, and maintains business intelligence solutions using tools such as Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server 2014, SSRS, and Blackbaud CRM Information Library and Query functionality.
  • Utilizes Tableau Desktop and Server to develop and maintain dynamic, interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Develops and maintains custom SSRS reports.
  • Develops efficient SQL queries to retrieve data out of the Data Mart and BBDW.
  • Collaborates with ITS colleagues to create, analyze, and validate detailed functional specifications for BI solutions.
  • Builds and implements BI solutions that support data ingestion, processing, and visualizations of metrics critical to Advancement.
  • In partnership with the Technical Trainer, responsible for the development and maintenance of documentation for all assigned BI solutions.
  • Identifies data patterns and trends and provides new insights to Advancement.
  • Mentors and trains peers in data visualization concepts and the use of Tableau to create engaging dashboards.
  • Utilizes BBCRM out of the box functionality to create queries, exports, data lists, and configuration changes through page designer.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining the Advancement Data Mart.
  • Assists with developing and maintaining BBCRM customization by utilizing the BBCRM SDK and APIs.
  • Assists with maintaining and extending the Blackbaud CRM Data Warehouse via BBCRM SDK.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

Expertise with Windows operating systems, SQL Server 2014 and its BI tools,Tableau, Blackbaud fundraising software products and services, and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Access, and Word.
