Job Description:

Supervises the daily functions of victim advocates. In the absence of the Program Director provides continuity of operations. Coordinate community education and training programs. Provide confidential direct crisis intervention, advocacy and support services, including rights and options, in accordance with F. S. S. 960 and Article 1, Section 16 of the Florida Constitution.

Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours may vary according to the needs of the department and in the event of man-made or natural disaster.

Expected Salary:

$56,030

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in an appropriate area of study, minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in Victim Services or closely related field.
  • Understanding of trauma, trauma informed response, ability to work a flexible schedule, and respond as needed for trauma related events.
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to make critical decisions in stressful situations.
