Job Description:

The Department of Health Management and Informatics in the College of Community Innovation and Education at the University of Central Florida invites applications for a accounting specialist II position.

The accounting specialist is responsible for planning, managing and/or supporting the financial operations activities, to include accounting, internal controls and financial systems, budget services, internal and external auditing, procurement and payroll.

The position will support the organization's accounting functions, and maintain up-to-date and accurate records of daily transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventories, payroll, and various other records.

Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

$36,841 to Negotiable

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • The selected candidate should have experience working in a higher education institution, good communication skills coupled with quality customer service, in addition to experience in accounts receivable and high volume travel (individual and group).
