Job Description:

This Database Administrator II will act as the primary owner and subject matter expert for the department's enterprise data mart. They will advise on optimal table structures and assists in maintaining data integrity. Maintain and extends the data mart and data warehouse. Monitors performance logs and scheduled jobs.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Writes optimized queries and stored procedures in support of enterprise reporting platforms such as SSRS and Tableau. Assists in developing reports, interactive dashboards, data visualization, and CRM functionality to support fundraising and financial business processes. Assist in refining user requirements.

  • Develops and maintains customizations in the department's CRM utilizing the software development kit to support data access and reporting data layer. Assists in strengthing the CRM user experience related to data access and efficient user navigation.

  • Supports data integration interfaces between various campus applications and the primary CRM utilizing software and custom-developed software, including SSIS packages and the CRM's SDK.

  • Able to conduct code reviews for team members related to department projects. Mentors and helps guide the BI Team through complex SQL queries and other database concepts.

  • Develop technical and training documentation in support of departmental initiatives and user support.

  • Functions as a business intelligence team member assisting on projects and data requests that meet and improve user requirements. May participate in meetings and campus committees related to job functions as required.

Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with ability to work nights and weekends and limited travel, as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
