Job Description:

UCF IT's Financial Services team is seeking a visiting Application Systems Analyst IV. This Application Systems Analyst IV position:

  • Serves as subject matter expert related to content, processes and procedures associated with the ERP systems.

  • Determines and documents requirements throughout product development and provides other functions to support the project teams. Maintenance of various procedural and other reporting.

  • Reviews and analyzes administrative business processes for re-engineering, simplification, and automation.

  • Meets with stakeholders to gather detailed functional needs and possible solutions. Documents business requirements and translations into proper system requirement specifications.

  • Is responsible for the review and evaluation of current policies and procedures in all Enterprise Application Development areas and for the updating, changing and reviewing of policies and procedures related to these systems operations, including ensuring appropriate internal controls.

  • Details requirements throughout product development and provide other functions to support the project teams.

  • Assists with developing estimates and project plans. Assists with ensuring any estimate delivered to a stakeholder is full and complete and includes resource components from all units within UCF IT.

  • Maintains business system analysis group's documentation as it pertains to Enterprise Application Development software and systems.

  • Maintains UCF IT's Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to Enterprise Application Development.

  • Complies with department security policies and procedures.

  • May serve in a supporting role to a Project Manager in providing this position's normal deliverables within the context of a multi-unit project requiring a close degree of coordination.

  • Prepares activity and progress reports.

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable standards, codes, regulations, rules, policies and procedures for areas of responsibility.

  • Assists with the documentation of the Enterprise Application Development's strategic plan that dovetails with the UCF Information Technology's Plan and ensures that goals are met.

  • Is responsible for development of initiatives, programs and systems, and on-going support for the UCF IT Enterprise Application Development team.

M-F Regular work schedule in 7:30a.m. - 6:00p.m. range

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Should have knowledge and experience in Microsoft Productivity Tools, excellent planning, and communication skills; demonstrated experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and maintains a high level of initiative and is a proven self-starter.
