Job Description:

The OPS Revenue Cycle Liaison position at UCF Health is responsible for preforming non-clinical patient support at UCF Health locations. This position works under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager as a liaison between the third party revenue cycle vendor and the clinic. Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Works with third party revenue cycle vendor to resolve claim and other billing issues.
  • Balance daily patient payment posting to ensure accuracy and prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Prepares and sorts source documents from physicians, hospitals and clinic and identifies and interprets information to be entered; confirms accuracy of data or reenters data to correct errors.
  • Generates reports and responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
  • Adheres to all HIPPA guidelines/regulations and keep abreast of changes and trends in insurance HMO/PPO Policies.
  • Maintains appropriate communication records and notes on patient accounts.
  • Attends staff meetings and assigned committee meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hours of work:

Within the hours of 7:30 AM-5:30 PM (8 hour shifts/40 hours a week).

Monday – Friday

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous revenue cycle management in a medical facility.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Once training has been completed, work may (with approval) be completed remotely and work onsite as needed.
