Sgt. Terrell Alexander shares his inspiring journey of choosing UCF as his home, academically and professionally.
Meet Sgt. Terrell Alexander, a source of inspiration at the UCF Police Department. His story is one of determination, resilience, and a strong commitment to learning and growing, embodying what it means to be a lifelong Knight.
Before joining UCF, Sgt. Alexander worked at the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, where he enjoyed his role but felt a growing desire for more education. Seeking both a chance to serve and opportunities for learning, he chose to become a part of the UCF Police Department.
As a double-knight, Sgt. Alexander achieved a rare feat, earning his undergraduate degree in Public Administration in 2018 and a master's in Management (PMSM) in Spring 2023. His journey, full of challenges, shaped him into the accomplished individual he is today. For Sgt. Alexander, UCF is more than just a workplace; it's a community that continually adds value and satisfaction to his professional journey.
In celebrating Sgt. Terrell Alexander's story, we celebrate not just his achievements but the spirit of a Knight who turns challenges into triumphs. His journey is an inspiration, reminding us that at UCF, we are part of a legacy, contributing to the positive growth and impact that defines the University of Central Florida. Cheers to being a Knight for Life!
