TRIO Programs/Project BEST:
UCF TRIO Programs are federally funded student success initiatives designed to support first‑generation, low‑income students and students with disabilities as they navigate their academic journey. Our department is committed to expanding access, increasing student success, and providing individualized support that empowers students to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Through coaching, mentoring, tutoring, workshops, and structured developmental pathways, TRIO Programs help students build the skills and confidence needed to reach graduation and pursue meaningful careers or graduate education.
Project BEST, which stands for Building Exemplary Scholars for Tomorrow, is one of UCF’s TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) programs. Project BEST offers a supportive community and tailored resources that help students strengthen their academic performance, connect with campus opportunities, and achieve their long‑term goals.
