The Opportunity:
UCF Advancement & Partnerships is seeking to fill an Administrative Assistant I (TEMP) position. This position aids in general administrative duties while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and team collaboration. We welcome candidates who are organized, proactive, and eager to contribute to a mission-driven team.
Responsibilities:
Assists with mailings, meetings, and events.
Performs secretarial and support tasks for staff by preparing correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations, and accounting reimbursements.
Reviews and inputs information into the donor database.
Delivers documents to the main campus.
Participates as a backup to the front desk receptionist.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6). Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year experience in customer service, hospitality, volunteer, or a general office setting.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including basic Excel skills.
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
This position will work 30-32 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule within UCF's regular business hour of Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Position requires a valid Class E driver’s license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
