The Opportunity:
The College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) is searching for an Administrative Coordinator I to oversee the daily operations of the Evaluation and Proficiency Center (EPC). The EPC combines the student testing and tutoring center and provides exam delivery, self-paced exam preparation, GTA-guided content tutoring, course project tutoring, and prerequisite remediation.
Responsibilities:
Act as the single point of contact for protocols, procedures, scheduling, setting, questions, and assistance.
Provide reactive support (responding to requests) and proactive support (on own initiative) of ensuring faculty are contacted regularly to obtain information needed to maintain smooth operation by preventing problems before they occur (with ownership of the outcome that faculty and students are satisfied with all aspects of EPC services).
Provide support to EPC users, including roster loading, check-in systems, camera systems, database backup, file control security, and exam content construction / debugging assistance (both reactively and proactively).
Participate in program planning and development.
Assist in monitoring progress against goals and objectives.
Contribute to progress reports and documentation.
Provide direction to others to ensure procedures are upheld for smooth office operations.
Develop and implement administrative standards, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience with academic or educational program coordination, including supporting faculty, students, and program operations in a higher education setting.
Ability to work effectively with faculty and students, including taking a firm and professional stance when necessary to uphold policies and ensure program integrity.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CANVAS/Webcourses, operating systems, and computer networking technology.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent organizational strategies and time management practices to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
Familiarity with scheduling and resource coordination tools.
