Student Success and Well-Being – Office of Undergraduate Admissions:
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions supports the university in meeting its strategic enrollment goals and fulfilling the UCF Strategic Plan. It is responsible for coordinating the identification, recruitment, admissions and enrollment of all undergraduate first-time-in-college, transfer, non-degree, dual enrollment, early admission and non-Florida public institution transient students. The office leverages the UCF brand to market, communicate and engage with broadly diverse, talented, and academically qualified students who will enrich our community and achieve academic and personal excellence.
The Opportunity:
UCF’s Student Success and Well-Being Office of Undergraduate Admissions invites dynamic and results-oriented applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Director, University Admissions. This role reports to the Communications and Visitor Engagement unit within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Division of Student Success and Well-Being. The successful candidate will contribute to the university's recruitment and student success goals by overseeing customer service, visitor relations, and campus recruitment events while supporting the department's strategic communication and recruitment plans. This position plays a critical role in enhancing the university’s engagement with prospective students and families, ensuring a seamless and welcoming admissions experience.
This position/classification may be moved at management's discretion within the Division of Student Success and Well-Being to a commensurate level position as determined by the Vice President of Student Success and Well-Being or his/her designee.

Responsibilities:
Supports university policies and procedures related to the recruitment, application, admission, and enrollment of undergraduate students.
Assists in developing effective operations and strategies to support application processing.
Engages in outreach and consultation and maintains relationships with campus and community partners.
Supervises the front desk customer service team and oversees visitor traffic flows within the Duke Energy UCF Welcome Center.
Fosters a culture of service excellence focused on delivering exceptional experiences to prospective students, families, and community partners.
Manages the planning, coordination, and execution of on-campus recruitment events such as open houses, receptions, and information sessions.
Collaborates with internal staff, campus partners, and external vendors to ensure event success.
Manages the collection of assessment data by designing, distributing, and analyzing surveys to evaluate engagement activities.
Provides periodic and ad hoc reports to leadership on trends and activities and recommends service delivery enhancements.
Reviews and renders admissions decisions in accordance with university and state policies; participates in recruitment efforts, including attending events, and supports the execution of the institution’s strategic recruitment plan.
This position is responsible for transportation and material setup for special events and other departmental activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's and 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience with at least 1+ year(s) of leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate admissions experience in a dynamic and fast-paced undergraduate setting.
Experience in higher education, customer service, or a related field.
Strong creativity, leadership, organizational, and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in event planning, data analysis, and strategic planning.
Commitment to providing excellent service to a multifaceted student population.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus in a state vehicle to conduct University business.
