The Opportunity:
The UCF College of Community Innovation and Education (CCIE) Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA) is currently accepting applications for a Program Director I, Infrastructure and Operations. In providing leadership, this position will be responsible for advancing the Center's infrastructure and operations to align with FCSUA mission and goals, to meet the requirements of the Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Program Act (f.s.1004.6495). These include; the Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities Website, Taxonomy for Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs strategic planning tool for Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive Transition Programs (FPCTP) planning, The Florida Center for Students with Unique Abilities (FCSUA) Community portal for program applications, grant proposals, student scholarships, program reporting, student reporting, student follow-up reporting, invoicing, annual performance reporting, and final performance reporting.
This is a Contract and Grant (C&G) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure and operations team development and maintenance of customized software applications and learning management systems to meet the needs of 33 approved FPCTPs and 10 higher education institution developing programs. This includes the FCSUA Community and other digital platforms utilized by FPCTP programs and approved by Center personnel.
Design, implement, and maintain a reliable and scalable technology infrastructure, including but not limited to Salesforce CRM, the Online Strategic Planning Tool, the Center’s website, and T1V visual collaboration platforms to remain compliant.
Maintain data governance framework and robust data management practices to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security to meet the legislative requirements of the Act and Board of Governors annual report.
Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making and research.
Maintain appropriate system usage and data accuracy.
Follow FCSUA Community guidelines on FPCTP Applications, Grants, Scholarships, Annual Program, Student Information, Student Follow-up, and Grant Performance Reports.
Manage technical issues and recommend enterprise hardware and software modifications.
Identify software to develop new applications, modifications, and enhancements to current applications, or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
Facilitate infrastructure and system team implementation of user interface based on system design and document work.
Packages scripts for deployment.
Code, integrate, test, and debug databases and applications; Create end-user documentation.
Develop and execute a strategic technology roadmap that supports the Center's overall objectives and promotes innovation in planning, implementing, and supporting FPCTPs and administrative processes to meet legislative requirements.
Coordinate technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party solutions for potential adoption. Consult with FPCTP users and UCF departments to analyze and define business processes and workflows to ensure effective corresponding software and applications to meet the legislative requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
Proven experience advancing an organization infrastructure and operations to establish and enforce data governance frameworks to implement a robust data lifecycle management strategy.
Proven experience leveraging business intelligence tools for data analysis and reporting.
Proven experience leading technical teams and managing the full lifecycle of complex software applications, including architecture, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Experience with designing and maintaining platforms relevant to higher education or non-profit operations, such as Salesforce CRM and community portals.
Strong background with leading, designing, implementing, and maintaining a strategic planning system.
Skilled in technology vendor management, including evaluating third-party solutions, contract negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration with different stakeholders.
Working knowledge of web accessibility standards and organizational policies to ensure compliance on digital platforms.
Demonstrated experience in preparing technical documentation and providing effective technical support and training on the use of relevant digital platforms and software applications.
Ability to produce clear technical documentation and deliver user training and technical support for digital tools and applications.
