The Opportunity:
The Advancement Grants Specialist III plays a vital role in securing and stewarding funding from corporations and foundations and managing the entire lifecycle of grant proposals from prospect research to reporting. This position partners with faculty, development officers, and marketing teams to craft compelling proposals that align with UCF’s strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Grant Writing & Proposal Development – Research, write, and edit grant proposals and reports for foundation and corporate funding opportunities ranging from $100K to $20M.
Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with faculty, development officers, and marketing teams to draft compelling proposals that align with UCF’s mission.
Donor Stewardship & Reporting – Ensure timely submission of interim and final reports, providing donors with high-quality stewardship materials such as presentations and impact summaries.
Prospect Research & Opportunity Assessment – Identify and qualify new corporate and foundation funding prospects, maintaining a comprehensive database.
System Support & Grant Administration – Maintain tracking systems for proposals, deadlines, and funding requirements to ensure seamless grant management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven success in grant writing and fundraising within higher education, nonprofits, or research institutions.
Familiarity with fundraising databases and donor management software such as Blackbaud CRM, Raiser's Edge, or Salesforce.
Experience securing six- and seven-figure corporate or foundation grants.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
The anticipated range for a qualified candidate is $56,030 - $68,637. Advancement and Partnerships values the unique contributions that each team member brings to our division. The determination of a successful candidate's starting salary will vary based on several factors, including education and relevant experience. The anticipated pay scale indicated for this position generally applies to candidates who meet the minimum requirements and several of the preferred qualifications outlined above.
