The Opportunity:

The Data Integrity Assistant assists and supports the HRIS and HR Reporting & Analytics team by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of employee data across HR systems. This role is responsible for corrective data entry, validation, auditing, and maintenance tasks, and plays a key part in upholding data quality standards that support HR operations and reporting.

Classification Title: HR Data Analyst I 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data cleanup projects and system updates, following established data governance and confidentiality protocols.

  • Perform routine audits to identify and correct data discrepancies, through individual record (EE) reviews and through the use of data extracts and reports.

  • Update/correct employee information in HR systems with a high level of accuracy. 

  • Enter employee information in HR systems with a high level of accuracy (new records)

  • Assist with maintenance of documentation of data entry procedures and update as needed.

  • Collaborate with HR team members to ensure consistent data practices.

  • Respond to internal inquiries regarding employee data and escalate issues as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with data, records, or detailed information in an academic or administrative setting.

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for basic tasks such as data entry, sorting, filtering, and reviewing information for accuracy.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Proven ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

  • Demonstrated discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

Visiting positions are based on circumstances, such as funding sources, which control the length of time for which the position is available. Position will be renewable up to a period of four years.

This is an Auxiliary (AUX) funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

This is a visiting appointment with the potential for a regular appointment following the conclusion of the term, contingent upon the availability of funding, business need, and demonstrated successful performance.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $20.29. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
