The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) is home to nationally recognized programs focused on health and wellness ― and a respected faculty dedicated to teaching innovations and research partnerships. The college offers accredited programs in athletic training, communication sciences and disorders, physical therapy, and social work. CHPS also offers one of UCF’s largest majors, health sciences, as well as popular programs in sport and exercise science within the field of kinesiology. Through coursework, field experience, and inter-professional education, our students develop high-demand skills in healthcare and cultural competency for working with varied populations.

The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida (UCF) College of Health Professions and Sciences (CHPS) Undergraduate Affairs is hiring a Manager of CHPS Student Success Programs, and we invite you to apply. This position will manage student success programs in CHPS. Additionally, the  Program Manager will assist the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs in planning and managing the development of new student success programs and initiatives. Current student success programs include student scholarships and awards, community health ambassador programs, study abroad programs, and other programs that contribute to student success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and direct student scholarships and awards programs.

  • Develop, manage, and direct the college’s community health ambassadors program.

  • Manage the study abroad and student experiential learning programs.

  • Assist the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs with program and course development and delivery.

  • Manage student recruitment and enrollment in student engagement and success programs.

  • Establish and manage community partnerships and collaborations.

  • Develop and manage marketing and communication material and digital kiosks.

  • Coordinate and support the college undergraduate council and other committees as needed.

  • Manage textbook submission and compliance in the college.

  • Identify and collect data and develop reports to assess and support initiatives within CHPS undergraduate affairs.

  • Other duties as needed and as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An earned Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline.

  • Experience in developing and managing undergraduate student success initiatives and programs.

  • Experience working with community partners and establishing community collaboration.

  • Experience using marketing tools and preparing marketing material for student success programs.

  • Experience developing reports and assessments of student success programs.

The most successful candidates may possess the following qualities: 

  • Excellent collaboration skills, working as a team member, and motivating others.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
