The Rosen College of Hospitality Management is comprised of approximately 100 diverse faculty and staff members that represent over 18 different countries and are recognized for their research, teaching skills, and industry impact. Rosen College students are exposed to some of the most modern and well-designed learning laboratories as they pursue one of the many B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. majors offered.

The Opportunity:

The Outreach & Student Recruitment Coordinator is a newly created role at UCF's Rosen College of Hospitality Management — one of the most recognized hospitality programs in the world. In this position, you'll serve as a frontline ambassador for the college, connecting prospective students and their families to the programs, pathways, and people that make Rosen unique. From high school visits and industry events to on-campus experiences and targeted outreach campaigns, you'll play a central role in shaping how the next generation of hospitality leaders discovers Rosen College.

Classification Title: Academic Program Coordinator III

Responsibilities:

  • Provides recruitment guidance and general information to prospective students and their families about Rosen College programs.

  • Provides referrals to appropriate student services such as orientation, academic advising, and financial aid resources.

  • Coordinates and attends high school visits, industry engagement opportunities relevant to student recruitment, and outreach events to promote Rosen College.

  • Serves as a liaison to high school counselors, community-based organizations, and business partners for recruitment purposes.

  • Collaborates with the Rosen College Marketing & Communications Department to support and implement strategic recruitment and outreach campaigns.

  • Plans and organizes on-campus events such as info sessions, open houses, college tours, and recruitment-focused programming.

  • Conducts individual prospective student and family tours. May lead volunteers or student ambassadors during outreach and recruitment events.

  • Assists in the development of targeted outreach efforts, especially for specific degree programs or population segments.

  • Tracks engagement data and event outcomes to help measure impact and inform future outreach activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education student recruitment, admissions, enrollment management, or a similar student-facing role. 

  • Experience conducting outreach at high school visits, college fairs, or similar events, including engagement with counselors and community partners.

  • Experience planning and executing events such as open houses, info sessions, campus tours, online recruiting events, community outreach programs, or similar engagement activities.

  • Knowledge of hospitality, tourism, or related industry pathways relevant to Rosen College programs.

  • Experience collaborating with a marketing or communications team on campaigns, promotional content, or similar initiatives.

  • Experience collecting and interpreting data to inform program planning, organizational strategy, or similar decision-making processes. 

  • Familiarity with enrollment management CRM platforms (e.g., Slate, Salesforce, etc.), content creation tools (e.g., Canva), or similar systems.

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

This position requires occasional travel and may involve evening and weekend hours to support recruitment events, outreach activities, and college programming. Scheduling flexibility is expected as business needs, event calendars, and recruitment cycles may vary throughout the year.

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
