Student Care Coordinator

The Opportunity:

The UCF Student Success and Well-Being Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)  is currently accepting applications for a Student Care Coordinator I. This position is in Counseling and Psychological Services and supports the mental health of UCF students by providing case management services to students.

This is an Auxiliary-funded position. Employment is subject to the availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements systems for follow-up with students who have been referred to community resources (therapists, psychiatrists, clinics).

• Assists the clinical system and the Care Management Team with managing acute and high-risk students in accessing services to community resources.

• Schedules follow up appointments with students who need referral information.

• Meets with students to overcome barriers to accessing community resources.

• Helps to schedule appointments with off-campus providers.

• Provides case management for students who may need multiple services across campus.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 0+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

• Crisis management experience.

• Referral experience.

• Case management experience.
