The Opportunity:
The Applications Programmer III is responsible for defining, developing, testing, and maintaining both new and existing enhancements within Advancement & Partnerships' Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, primarily Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM) and related platforms.
This role involves developing technical solutions in response to evolving business needs and includes platform configuration, system integration, and custom programming. The Applications Programmer III works closely with cross-functional teams to support data accessibility, integrity, and usability ensuring that our CRM systems remain scalable, reliable, and donor-focused.
Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, and debug T-SQL views, procedures, and other database objects. Provide SQL code reviews and address system-related requests through a ticketing system.
Configure and extend Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM) functionality using its SQL and .NET-based SDK to meet business requirements.
Support system integration between BBCRM and other campus applications using tools such as Zuri Velocity, Brightvine Data Link, and custom-built interfaces.
Stay informed on BBCRM updates and new functionality and assist with the update and maintenance of the BBCRM and BBIS applications.
Maintain clear and thorough technical documentation for business standards, processes, and programming practices.
Contribute to the development of technical specifications and ensure solutions align with user needs and organizational goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6) Click here for more information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM) or other large-scale CRM platforms.
Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, including writing stored procedures, views, and database optimization.
Familiarity with .NET Framework, particularly as it relates to CRM SDKs or application extensibility.
Experience in higher education and using technology to support philanthropic engagement.
Experience with data integration tools such as Zuri Velocity or Brightvine Data Link.
Experience with ticketing systems or service request platforms (e.g., TeamDynamix, Jira, ServiceNow).
Demonstrated ability to write clear technical documentation and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and timelines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
The anticipated salary for a well qualified candidate is between $72,583 and $88,713.
