The Opportunity

UCF IT seeks a Workday Administrator II. The primary goal of this position is to support the Workday enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and its constituents. This position implements IT Workday Security and Tenant Management related solutions to address business needs. In this position you will help ensure compliance and security along with strategic plans, policies, and procedures in support of Workday HR/HCM and Financial Functionality.

The successful candidate should have experience in implementing/maintaining security and tenants for financial or human resource Workday systems. This role involves not only system maintenance and troubleshooting, but also the development and enhancement of business processes within the system. The administrator is a problem-solver, using their understanding of Workday and knowledge of a specific functional area to propose and implement business process changes to resolve business challenges.

Classification Title: Cloud ERP Administrator II

Responsibilities:

  • Under general supervision, coordinate the day-to-day operations of specific functions within the Workday.

  • Collaborate with Workday Administrators, Report developers, and Integration developers to help provide security solutions for the Workday HCM and Financials platform.

  • Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday security solutions throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Support, configure, and troubleshoot report, business process, integration, user-based, position based, and organization-based security processes and have working knowledge of Workday systems processes.

  • Audit, analyze, validate, and test security structure across Workday tenants.

  • Follow and enhance change control processes for security related changes and integrations.

  • Assist with the configuration of business process security, delegations support and performing security role assignments for responsible areas.

  • May act as a technical project manager for small to medium sized projects.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience maintaining Workday Security and Tenants.

  • Experience generating Workday audit security reports.

  • Experience configuring domain security policies.

  • Integration and tools such as web-services are a plus.

  • Workday certifications in applicable functional areas.

  • Experience in a higher education IT environment.

  • Ability to manage small to medium sized technical projects is a plus.
