The Opportunity:
The Workday Administrator III plays a pivotal role in managing, configuring, and optimizing our cloud-based Workday ERP system. This role involves not only system maintenance and troubleshooting, but also the development and enhancement of business processes within the system. The administrator is a problem-solver, using their expertise in Workday and deep knowledge of a specific functional area to propose and implement business process changes to resolve complex business challenges.
This position is a part of the UCF IT organization in the Workday Enterprise Support Team, which works to support its business partners in conducting university and direct support organizations business.
Classification Title: Cloud ERP Administrator III
Responsibilities:
Manage and facilitate the day-to-day operations of the Workday ERP system. Configure the Workday ERP system according to functional and technical requirements. Lead data mapping and data conversion. Configure and test business processes and workflows within the Workday ERP System.
Monitor system performance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and conduct regular system audits to assess data integrity. Address system and data integrity issues in collaboration with other IT teams and business partners.
Develop complex functional, technical, design, and business process specification documentation for implementation in the Workday ERP System.
Coordinate system upgrades and maintenance activities for the specific functional areas of responsibility. Manage projects to address business problems, improve system efficiency and functionality.
Provide end-user support, training, and documentation. Mentor and guide student apprentices. Mentor and guide colleagues with less experience.
Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for system enhancements, facilitate governance, prioritize tasks, propose solutions, and facilitate decisions. Document tasks, decisions, requirements, and progress in work management system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of Workday platform experience.
In-depth knowledge and experience with Workday Finance or Adaptive Planning OR in-depth knowledge of UCF Finance and UCF office of research processes.
Deep understanding of Workday Finance, Adaptive Planning configuration and integrations, OR Workday payroll costing/accounting OR deep understanding of UCF procure to pay cycle, UCF budget development, or payroll costing/accounting.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
This is not a remote position. The position allows for up to 1-3 hybrid workdays per week after a probationary period, depending on job duties, project work, and supervisor approval.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $89,076-$104,000. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
