The Opportunity:
The Employer Liaison/ATS Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the College of Business’s strategic goals by cultivating and maintaining strong employer partnerships that directly enhance student career outcomes. This position serves as the primary connector between industry and the college, ensuring alignment between employer needs and student development through targeted outreach, relationship management, and event coordination.
Working collaboratively with the Office of Outreach and Engagement (OOE), Office of Professional Development (OPD), and Office of Graduate Programs (OGP), the Employer Liaison/ATS Manager will facilitate employer engagement, match students with job and internship opportunities, and support the college’s corporate partnership program. Responsibilities include coordinating outreach calls, managing billing and invoicing for partnerships, and organizing employer-led events and presentations.
This role also contributes to the growth and execution of the college’s signature events and corporate engagement strategies, helping to expand internship pipelines and sponsorship opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain long-term partnerships with employers, acting as the primary liaison between companies and students. Conduct regular meetings with employers to assess hiring needs and ensure ongoing engagement. Manage the invoice to payment tracking of Corporate Partnerships and Grants from Corporate and Employer Partners for the College of Business and PSP programs. Responsible for speaking with employers and conducting review and vetting of academically approved internships for course credit.
Work closely with Office of Outreach and Engagement (OOE), Office of Professional Development (OPD), and Office of Graduate Programs (OGP) staff to align employer partnerships with student career goals. Develop initiatives that connect students with prospective employers. Engage and present during University and Community events for cross promotion of the College of Business Employer Engagement Model. Responsible for preparing and conducting workshops, and presentations on behalf of the College in various activities including but not limited to internships, Open Houses, Orientation Major Fairs and in-classroom presentations of various advising topics.
Serve as the main point of contact for all hiring-related matters. Oversee employer onboarding, job posting approvals/denials, and maintain accurate employer records within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Provide student recommendations to employers.
Responsible for strategic growth partnership through engagement with prospective and current corporate partners, including multinational corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits, to expand recruitment opportunities for students.
Collaborate with internal College of Business teams to develop marketing strategies that promote employer engagement and ensure corporate partner needs are met, to include Hot jobs and LinkedIn Communications for the students and community. Collaborate with the Director of THE EXCHANGE to build new ideas for programming of speakers and panels for student engagement.
Manage corporate partner relationships using Salesforce platforms (Knightline and GradBiz Knightline), tracking interactions and supporting business development efforts. Oversee the work assignment and review of work completed by the student worker.
Identify and cultivate new employer relationships through referrals, cold calling, social media, direct outreach, and networking events. Attend Employer Partner onsite student facing event on behalf of the College of Business (Verizon, BNY onsite meeting, Insite, ADP Day).
Assist in planning and executing corporate-sponsored events, student recruitment initiatives, and employer engagement activities to strengthen industry connections.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's and 2+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219(6).
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in staffing and human resources recruiting, with an understanding of industry best practices.
Demonstrated success in HR recruiting and talent acquisition, with at least two years of relevant experience.
Experience cultivating and maintaining relationships with employer partners to support employment placement across a range of career levels, from entry-level to professional roles.
Proven ability to coach students and employers on job search strategies, resume development, and interview preparation.
Ability to build and maintain productive partnerships with faculty, staff, and external employer organizations.
Familiarity with employer engagement and placement strategies, from entry-level to professional roles.
Experience designing and facilitating professional development opportunities across various career levels.
Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage candidate and employer relationships.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $48,722- $59,684. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
