The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic Facilities Operations team as the Director of Reliability & Logistics Operations. In this strategic role, you will oversee asset management and warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Your focus will be on optimizing processes, enhancing asset performance, and leading teams to support our operational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement policies, processes, and procedures that drive continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Communicate the vision and strategy effectively to all stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in.

  • Oversee a reliability-based work management program that utilizes continuous improvement practices to minimize unscheduled equipment downtime and optimize maintenance costs. Ensure adherence to the Work Management process and alignment with leadership directives.

  • Lead the execution of strategies to optimize logistics operations, including inventory management, distribution, and transportation. Collaborate with senior leadership to address emergent challenges and improve workflows while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.

  • Direct the establishment and improvement of stock requirements using Min/Max and Cycle Count methodologies in partnership with Facilities Operations Shops. Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the safe handling of Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) and oversee the management of excess construction materials and tools.

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of assets, from acquisition to disposal, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices. Drive continuous improvement in asset performance through data analysis and predictive maintenance strategies, aiming to maximize asset value and minimize downtime.

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse logistics, including inventory control and material distribution coordination, to support operational efficiency and project timelines. Ensure compliance with regulations while continually optimizing performance and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of leadership experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience in reliability, logistics, or asset management, with a proven track record of achieving organizational goals and enhancing operational performance.

  • 5 years of leadership experience, successfully managing cross-functional teams and spearheading strategic initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation.

  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), fault detection systems, and other asset management tools that enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Demonstrated expertise in asset management within sectors such as higher education, healthcare, commercial retail, or comparable environments.

  • Proven experience in developing asset management programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives, employing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.

  • Expertise in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain optimization, with a focus on reducing costs and improving service levels.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong aptitude for utilizing data to inform decision-making and drive strategic outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels to achieve common goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
